Today we had a partial solar eclipse in Germany. I took some pictures and really like how they turned out. The full resolution versions even look a bit better than this web version. I especially like the first picture for the lighting with the clouds, and the second one because I nearly can make out the moon as a celestial body and it made me feel the vastness of space in that moment. They’re two of my best and favourite photographs I’ve ever taken.
I used my Nikon D3000 with a Tamron 18-200mm lens.
